Announcements

ATTENTION:

• Donuts with Dad will be held this Friday, Nov. 30th from 7:00-8:00 a.m. in the cafetorium.  The cost is $5 per family.
• Third grade is responsible for a Barbie and Hot Wheel gift basket. Please send some kind of Barbie item or Hot Wheel item for our gift basket.
• The students are making the ornaments in art. The cost is 10 dollars. Please send that is with your child.

Field Trip

Our field trip is tomorrow! Everyone needs to be at the school no later than 7:40. We are going to leave by 8:10. I am going to let you know who everyone is riding with tomorrow. I made a list to make it easier. Also, if you forgot if you purchased a lunch or not I will type a list on here. If you DID NOT order a lunch you HAVE to bring a lunch. We will not be leaving the Shakespeare Festival to get any food. The food is being brought to us at the Shakespeare Festival.  Make sure you wear your Pike Lib shirt if you bought one. I am very excited, and I think everyone will enjoy this play very much! If you have any questions feel free to email me.

Field Trip

Our field trip will be the Tuesday we get back from Thanksgiving break. Chick-Fil-A gave me the wrong total when I called the first time, so if each of you will bring a dollar to school this week I would really appreciate it. I am sorry for any inconvenience.

Reminders

We have a short but busy week. I have a couple of announcements and reminders:

1. Language test tomorrow.
2. Science test Thursday.
3. We will not have vocabulary test Friday, but we will have a reading test on chapters 9-11.
4. We will have a spelling test, but NO get to 30. The homework for spelling is on their spelling list.
5. Bring $4 for pizza by tomorrow. Our party will be Thursday.
6. We get out of school at 12:00 on Friday.

ATTENTION

We will dismiss at 12:00, Friday, November 16.

With that being said we will now have our pizza feast on Thursday. Please send your $4 by Wednesday.

Pizza Thanksgiving Feast

We decided as a class on a "Pizza Thanksgiving Feast."  We will eat pizza and watch Pocahontas on Friday, November 16. I have parent going to pick the pizza up and bringing it to the class. If you will send $4 with you child by next Thursday. This will cover the pizza and drinks. Thanks

Reminders

Reminders:

1. We are out next Monday for Verterans Day
2. We will have a science test next Thusday. It will cover chapters 4-6, I will give them a study guide next Tuesday.
3. We will have a language test next Wednesday.
4. Make sure your child is reading their AR books each night, even if it is for fifteen minutes. They should take a test twice a week.
5. I would like to do a "Modern Thanksgiving Feast" on Friday, November 16. We can do pizza or McDonalds. I will let the kids vote. If any of you would like to pick it up I would really appreciate it. I will let you know how much money to send with your child later in the week.
6. Thanksgiving break is November 19-23.
7. Our field trip in November 27th. Everyone will need to be at the school at 8:00 we are going to leave Pike Lib at 8:30.
